한국언론은 총선보도에 바빠서인지? 아니면 아예 Coronavirus Pandemic방역에 청와대를 비롯한 고관대작들이 관심이 시들해서져 인지? 아직까지, 한국 일본 중국을 포함한 ASEAN협의체 나라의 정상들이 화상을 통한 정상회담을 한다는 뉴스가 없다. 아마도 한국의 높은 정치꾼들은 총선이 국민들의 생명을 구해야 하는 전염병 퇴치에는 강건너 등불정도로 밖에 안보이는것 같아, 안타깝다.
한국, 일본, 중국을 포함한 ASEAN협의체 국가 정상들이 모여 Coronavirus Pandemic대응책을 논의 한다고 중국 외무성 대변인, Zhao Lijian씨가 월요일 발표했는데, 이회담은 2020년 ASEAN의장국인 Vietnam이 주최국이 되여, 화상을 통한 정상회담이 될것이라고 발표했다. 중국은 시진핑을 대신해서 수상, Li Keqiang이 베이징에서 참석할것이라고 한다.
이번 정상회담은 지난달에 지구촌을 위협하고 있는 Coronavirus Pandemic대응책을 논의하기위해 사우디아라비아가 주최국이 되여 열렸던 G20국가들의(G20 special meeting) 회담이 있은지 한달만에 다시 열리는 것이다.
화요일에 열리게된 회담에서 ASEAN국가들은 이번 Coronavirus 전염병과, 회원국들이 합심하여 이지역의 경제개발에 대한 중점적인 토의가 있은후 결과를 종합할 것이라고 Zhao씨는 기자들과의 Daily브리핑에서 밝힌 것이다. 중국은 Covid-19전염병이 지역경제에 미치는 것에 해결책을 찾는데 중점적인 노력을 기울일 것이라고 대변인은 전했다.
Zhao대변인은 설명하기를 ASEAN국가들과 중국은 친구와 같은 이웃국가들이며, 창궐하고있는 전염병퇴치에 모든 국가들이 서로 협조를 잘해 좋은 결과을 얻어가고 있다고 했다.
또한 중국은 이번 전염병발생 초기에 ASEAN 협의체 국가들이 중국이 필요한 의료품들을 보내줘서 고마웠었고, 이제는 ASEAN회원국들 나라에 확산되여, 이에 대한 보은의 뜻으로 필요한 모든 장비및 물품을 보낼 준비가 되여 있다고 설명했다.
이번 화상통화 회담에서 ASEAN회원국들은 남지나해의 섬들에 대한 영유권 다툼에 대한 토론은 정상회담 의제에 포함시키지 않았다. 이섬들의 영토분쟁에 힙싸여있는 나라들은, '중국, 월남,말레이시아, 필리핀 그리고 Brunei다. 그러나 이러한 분쟁은 이번 정상회담에서 먹구름을 끼얹고 있는데, 그이유는 Paracel 섬부근에서 8명의 어부가 탑승하여 조업하고있던 월남의 어선한척을 중국해안경비대 함정이 들이받아 침몰시키고, 승선했던 어부 전원이 구조된 사건이 일어났는데, 앞으로 계속 중국이 국격을 과시하여 작고 못사는 나라들을 힘으로 위협하고있기 때문이다.
왜 시진핑은 참석하지 않고, 대신 수상을 보내고 있을까? 시황제임을 암시하는 힘을 과시하는것같아, 동남 아시아 및 세계 평화와 경제 발전에 좋은 신호를 보낸다기 보다는, 특히 한국의 문재인 정부에 대한 신하취급을 노골적으로 하지 않을까? 걱정이 된다.
한국의 문재인 대통령이 화상통화를 하면서, 이번에는 A4 용지에 메모를 써서 어설프게 하는 회담이 아니었으면 하는 마음 간절하다. 지금 월남은 경제적 발전이나 경제규모면에서 한국을 바짝 뒤쫒아오고 있는데, 한국의 경제 발전은 계속 뒷걸음질만 치고 있어, 이대로 간다면 머지않아 한국은 월남에 현재의 한국이 차지한 자리를 내줘야 할것 같다는 두려움과, 걱정이 앞선다. 내일 모레 치러지는 총선의 결과에 따라 지금 걱정하는 염려들이 현실로 나타나느냐 마느냐의 기로에 서있는데....국민들이여 정신 차려라.

special meeting from Beijing on Tuesday of leaders of the Association of
Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) plus China, Japan and South Korea to
coordinate the response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The regional meeting comes after a G20 special meeting last month hosted by Saudi Arabia to advance the global response to the pandemic.
Tuesday's meeting among East and Southeast Asian countries shows the determination and willingness of countries to join hands in fighting the epidemic and safeguarding regional economic development, Zhao told reporters during a daily briefing.
China hopes the meeting would advance joint regional efforts to tackle the COVID-19 outbreak and its economic impact, he said.
The territorial disputes, which involve China and five other claimants, including ASEAN members Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines and Brunei, are not part of the formal summit agenda. But the disputes have cast a shadow on the summit after a Vietnamese fishing boat with eight men on board was hit by a Chinese coast guard ship and sank near the Paracel islands. All the fishermen were rescued.
The other ASEAN members are Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Singapore and Thailand.
China also hopes the meeting would strengthen coordination in virus prevention and control, improve health cooperation, as well as promote trade and economic integration, he added.
Speaking of COVID-19 challenges in ASEAN countries, Zhao said China sympathizes with affected countries over the outbreak, and has sent medical supplies and experts to certain countries to help fight the virus.
China and ASEAN countries are friendly neighbors, Zhao said, and the two sides have achieved many positive results while cooperating on fighting the epidemic.
China appreciates that ASEAN countries sent urgently needed medical supplies at an early stage, and now as coronavirus cases rise in ASEAN countries, China is willing to send assistance and facilitate the procurement of medical supplies, he said.
