성경에 나오는 천사가 따로 있는게 아니다. 가난퇴치를 위해 연중 무휴로 Bill Gates는 수십억 달러씩 필요로 하는 국가나 기관에 Donation을 해온 자선단체를 운영해 오고 있는데, 이번에는 가난퇴치 보다는 Cronavirus가 발생하여 전세계적으로 퍼져가는것을 막기위한 응급조치로, 1억달러(한화 약 1200억이상)를 WHO를 비롯한 관련 기관에 즉시 Donation하기로 결정했다고 한다.
Bill Gates자선단체는 미국에서 질병관리의 중심센터역활을 하는 방역기관 그리고 세계보건기구에서 당장에 6억7천5백만달러가 필요함을 역설한 기관을 포함한 여러나라의 연구기관에 나누어 보내질것이라고 했다.
이번 Coronavirus의 진원지 중국과 환자발생이 확인된 여러나라들도 Bill Gates 자선단체의 도움을 받게 될것이라고 발표했다.

중국인 닥터로, 맨처음 coronavirus에 대한 경종을 울린 죄목으로 합법적으로 감금되여있던 닥터 Li Wenliang씨가 감영되여 고생하던중 사망하고 말았다. 그의 죽음은 목요일 WHO의 기자회견중 그가 사망했음을 확인해준것이다.
"닥터 Li Wenliang씨의 사망소식에 커다란 슬픔을 금할수 없다." 라고 아직 이번 Coronavirus전염병이 그정점에 이르렀는지의 여부를 결정하기 위한 조치가 있기전에, WHO관련직원이 설명했다.

He was then summoned to Public Security Bureau where he was forced to sign a letter stating that he made false comments about the virus, the BBC reported. Authorities later apologized.
Shortly after, he began coughing and developed a fever that landed him in the hospital for several days. On Jan. 30, he tested positive for the virus.
News of his Feb. 6 death first began circulating Thursday on social media and health blogs in China. It is not known if Li had any underlying health complications that may have impacted the severity of his illness.
The novel coronavirus has sickened more than 28,000 worldwide and resulted in at least 563 deaths. About 99 percent of cases have occurred in mainland China, although two deaths have been reported outside the country including in the Philippines and Hong Kong.
The foundation said those funds will go to “multilateral” bodies such as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization, which on Wednesday called for $675 million to help address the virus internationally.
Health authorities in China — the epicenter of the outbreak — and other countries with confirmed cases will also get some support, the charity said.
“Our hope is that these resources will help catalyze a rapid and effective international response,” Gates Foundation CEO Mark Suzman said in a statement. “This response should be guided by science, not fear, and it should build on the steps that the World Health Organization has taken to date.”
The foundation will also put up to $60 million toward speeding up development and testing of vaccines for the coronavirus, which it said will be crucial to preventing more deaths if the disease continues to spread for several months.

And up to $20 million will go to health authorities in South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa, which have been hit especially hard by recent epidemics, according to the foundation. The funds will help officials isolate and treat confirmed cases, bolster emergency operations centers, and “implement effective disease surveillance efforts,” the charity said.
The Gates Foundation’s $100 million commitment includes $10 million that it pledged to combat the outbreak late last month, it said. The charity is co-chaired by Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates — who is the world’s second-richest man with a net worth of $117 billion, according to Bloomberg — and his wife, Melinda, a former Microsoft general manager.
