여행후기, 아시아 6 개국, 그리고 한국을 먹칠하는 악덕여행사와 Guide (Dec 9th,2014)

사실 이번 아시아 6개국 여행을 준비 하면서, 내심 걱정을 많이 했었다.  우선 우리 부부의 체력이 버티어 줄것인가로 그런 고민을 했었다.  다행히도 동남아시아 4개국 여행 계약을 맺은 Myanmar tour Co.의 헌신적인 도움으로, 마치 칙사라도 된것같은 기분 속에서 여유있게, 마음 편하게 할수 있었기 때문에 무사히 상하(Hot weather through whole year)의 나라에서 탈없이 마쳤던것 같다.  그후 한국과 일본에서 보낸 시간은 우선 기후가 덮지 않아 적응하는데 좋았기에, 또 고향나라였기에  몸속의 Energy 소진없이 45일간의 긴여행을 진행했던것 같다.

First of all Tour organization's operation was excellent through this tour, especially with Dzung Vu's effort which I really appreciated that she tried to solve quickly making me and Lunar feel confident and comfortable  when I had a minor problems with tour guides and tour schedules that I notified to her.

The most of guides except the first day in Saigon and 3 days in Cambodia have done good job that made us feel at home.  Through explanation by guides on sites we visited made me and Lunar know about these countries totally different ways from knowledge we had known briefly, especially their religion of Buddhaism and size of temples, Pagodas and especially stupas that I had never heard of before.

The life of Tribes in Sapa, Vietnam, Cuchi tunnels that showed how Vietcong fought against Super military power, the life of people living on Mekong Delta and it's water ways, People's life pattern on these countries( Vietnam, Cambodia,Myanmar, Laos)that devoting to Buddha and it's cultures and historic sites for long time have been inherited and continued up to now been kept nicely.  Especially in Bagan, Myanmar, there were thousands, thousands Stupas on huge flat lands with brick structures that I and Lunar will remember it till last day of us.

Some funny things at Myanmar where traffic flow was so much chaos and strange that driver's seat on right hand side with running on right side lanes on the road looked like seeing the persons who did beautiful make-ups with their brains empty.  But I understood that it's also one of their unique cultural inheritance.  Funny thing on road was that  a driver couldn't see traffic flows from opposition side when try to overpass a big bus or truck that were running in front of since driver's sight blocked by those. So a passenger sitting beside driver must check traffic flows from other side for driver.

I and Lunar again appreciate on tour staffs efforts served to us through this tour.
I hope prosperity should be kept on this tour organization.

Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia는 한국의 1960년대에 겪었던 우리 부모님들의 삶과 같은 고달픈 생활이 계속되고, 이러한 경제적 어려움을 탈피 시키고져 하는 위정자들의 노력은 전연 보이지 않아, 경제적 부흥이 되고 안되고는 전적으로 국가를 운영하는 위정자들 손에 달려 있다는것을 하루라도 빨리 깨달았으면 하는 안타까움이 많았었다.

Okinawa,일본 여행을 반세기 이상의 긴시간을 통해 우정을 나누고 있는 친구들과 했었는데, 이행사를 맡은 "참좋은 여행사와 Guide"의 횡포와 무성의 때문에, 망쳐버린 일은 이역시 두고두고 기억해 둘일이고,  아직도 이러한 악덕 여행사들이 여행객들을 괴롭히고, 봉처럼 생각하는 풍토가 횡횡하고 있는 한국의 현실에, 한국을 찾는 해외 여행객들에게 나쁜 이미지를 줄것이 내심 걱정 돼기도 했었다. Portable drinking water도 제공 안해주는, 그러면서 tip은 강제적으로 빼앗다시피 거두어 가는 "참 좋은 여행사와 Guide"는 더이상 한국여행객들에게 악덕업주노릇 그만하고, 한국을 찾는 우리 부부같은 여행객들에게 한국에 대한 나쁜 기억을 만들어 주지 않도록 깊은 반성을 해야 할것이다.

여행 내내 소리없이, 표정의 변화한번 없이 뒤에서,자기 자신도 쌓인 피로에 지쳐 있었으면서도 묵묵히 Support해준 아내, Lunar의 소중함과 고마움을 조금은 깨달았던것 같다.  Thank U.

 고국에서 머무는 동안 의식주 모두를 포함하여, 헌신적으로 편의를 베풀어준, 반세기 이상을 교류하고 있는 친구들의 우정이 일상에서 이루어지는 생활의 연속으로 생각하면서 지내게 해준점 잊지 않고, 그들이 생각나고 그리울때마다 기억속에서 꺼내 재음미 하고, 그래도 만족치 않을때는 '카카오톡'으로 아쉬움을 달랠것이다.

이번 여행을 통해서, 우리 부부는, 그것도 내가 태어난 나라가 아닌, 문화와 언어가 다른 캐나다에 거주하면서, 이렇게 기회를 만들수있는 터전을 제공해준 캐나다에 감사하고, 또 이들 나라들을 탐방하면서 우리부부의 인생이 무한한 큰 축복을 받아오면서 오늘에 이르렀다는 점을 깊이 깨닫게 해주신 분께 감사 드리고,  남은 인생도 겸허하게 살아가면서, 할수만 있다면 서로Share하면서 살아가는 삶이 축복받은 인생이라고 생각하면서 여행후기를 마친다.
