Trump 대통령이 취임 10개월만에 처음 아시아 국가들을 국빈 방문하는길에 한국에도 1박 2일간 머물게 되고, 공항에 도착하면, 21발의 예포까지 발사하고, 24년만의 미국대통령으로서는 국빈방문의 대접을 받게 된다고 한다.
그는 먼저 일본, 그리고 한국을 거쳐 중국방문하고, 다시 남쪽으로 내려가 월남의 다낭에서 개최되는 아시아-태평양 경제 협의체 정상회담을 마치고,바로 월남의 수도 하노이에서 국빈방문 대접을 받고 정상회담을, 다시 필리핀 수도 마닐라에서 개최되는 동남아시아 국가 정상회담에 참석하고 귀국하게 되는 11일간의, 미국 대통령으로서는 가장 긴 해외여행을 하게 되는셈이다.
한국의 문통은, Trump 대통령의 한국방문을 국빈방문으로 격을 높여서, 1박 2일간 체류하게 되면서, 평택 미군기지를 방문하고, DMZ방문은 신변안전을 위해 이번여행 스케쥴에 포함되지는 않는다고 한다. 문통정부의 2얼굴을 못믿겠다는 강력한 항의 신호로 보인다.
문제는 국빈 대접을 하는데, 빨갱이들로 조직된 구통진당원들이 당명만을 "민중당"으로 바꾸어, 이들이 Trump 방문시 대규모 반미데모를 하게된다는 것이다.
문통정부는 뒷구멍으로는 다른 계획이 있는것으로 보이며, 트럼프에게는 "봐라 대한민국은 민주주의 국가임을 느낄수 있지 않는가?"라면서, 어쩌면 Motorcade가 멈춰 설지도 모르는 신변위협에 처하게 되지 않을까? 걱정이 앞선다. 문통은 국민들 그만, 한미일 혈맹관계에서, 제발 서자취급 받지 않도록, 정성을 보이고, 믿음성을 보여줘라. 그러나....
Trump 동남아 순방길에 동행하는,철없는 한국기자는 같은 돈내고, 좌석배정이 맨뒷쪽 화장실바로 옆이라고 투덜 거린다. 보통 비행기 여행을 하다보면, 그날의 운수(?)에 따라 좌석이 조금 낳은곳으로, 또는 그렇치 못한곳으로 배정될수도 있는것을, 굳이 한국 기자이기에 변소옆에라고 불평을 하고 있다. 또 이걸 Top News라고 첫머리에 보도하는 언론사도 큰 문제다. 문제의 핵심을 보지 못하고, 곁가지만 보면서, 칭얼대고 있으니....
한국이 주로 견주는 나라는 일본과 중국인데, 특히 일본에 포커스를 마추는데, 일본에 버금가는 수준의 대접을 해주기를 바라는데, 그동안 문통정부가 미국에 대해서 어떻게 해왔는가? 특히 대북관계에 대해서 미국과 과연 동맹국이라는, 혈맹이라는 느낌이 들도록 처신해 왔는가?를 돌이켜 보면 대답은 명확하게 나온다. 그러면서도 일본과 차이나게 대접해 준다는등등.... 치사한 불평을 한다.
한국기자의 비행기좌석배정 불평에, 그는 문통정부를 비난 했어야 옳았다. 문통정부의 친북, 친중국정책으로, 한미동맹관계를 의심받게되고, 그결과가 동행한 기자에게까지 그영향을 미치게 됐다라고. 그나마 비행기에 동석시켜준것만이라도 고맙게 생각했어야 옳았다.
두고보자, 과연 한국 체류 25시간 동안에 어떤 돌출행동이 발생할지에 대해서 말이다.
개인간의 관계나, 국가간의 관계는, 항상 "Give and Take"라는 선언되지 않은 법칙이 준엄하게 적용돼고 있다는것을 세상을 살만큼 살아온 경험있는 사람들은 알고 있다.
조국 대한민국이 적의 위협으로 부터 안전하고 평화스럽게 살아갈수있는 나라로 존재해야 하는데.... "냄비속의 개구리가 되지 않기를 내 명이 다할때까지, 그래도 나는 기원 할것이다."
Before embarking on his first official visit to Asia, President Donald Trump flew to Hawaii on Friday, where he and first lady Melania Trump visited Pearl Harbor, the site where U.S. forces came under surprise attack from the Japanese in 1941.
The president and first lady also made a solemn visit to the USS Arizona Memorial, where they tossed flower petals into the water above the battleship’s sunken hull.
US President Donald Trump has embarked on an 11-day trip to Asia during which he will visit Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam and the Philippines.
It will be the longest tour of Asia by a US president in 25 years.
The trip comes at a time of heightened tensions with North Korea over its nuclear programme and missile tests.
Mr Trump is expected to show a united front with South Korea and Japan while pressing China to take a stronger line with Pyongyang.
President Trump flew first to the US state of Hawaii where he visited the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor - the scene of the 1941 Japanese attack that drew the US into World War Two.
He also took part in a briefing at the US Pacific Command.

From Hawaii, he and First Lady Melania Trump will head to Japan and then on to South Korea.
Mr Trump has previously exchanged some fiery rhetoric with North Korea over its ballistic missile tests but aides said earlier this week that he would not go to the heavily fortified demilitarized zone (DMZ) on the border between the South and North.
He is, however, to visit Camp Humphreys, a US military complex south of the capital, Seoul.
In Vietnam, Mr Trump will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation summit in Danang and make a state visit to Hanoi.
His final engagement will be a summit of South-East Asian nations in the Philippine capital, Manila.
The last time a US president made such a marathon trip to Asia was when George HW Bush visited the region in late 1991 and early 1992.
While in Japan on that trip, Mr Bush fainted and vomited during a banquet.
"Our brave warriors are the last bulwark against threats to the dreams of people in America and Japan and all across the world," Trump said. "You are the greatest hope for people who desire to live in freedom and harmony and you are the greatest threat to tyrants and dictators who seek to prey on the innocent."
Trading in his suit jacket for a flight jacket moments after taking the stage at Yokota Air Base, Trump praised the US-Japan military alliance, thanked US troops for keeping "us all safe" and talked up US military prowess in the region.
The remarks served to help set the tone for the President's Asian tour that will take him next to South Korea, China, Vietnam and the Philippines for nearly two weeks of powerhouse diplomacy, much of which will focus on rallying other regional powers to step up their efforts to pressure North Korea into abandoning its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.

- Sunday, 12 November: Arrives in Manila, Philippines, to take part in a gala dinner for the 50th anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean)
- Monday, 13 November: Will attend the Asean summit in Manila and hold talks with President Rodrigo Duterte
